Inauguration de trois stations du tram luxembourgeois autour du Glacis

Trois nouvelles stations de tram ont été inaugurées le 27 juillet 2018.  Elles se situent autour du Glacis.

C’est très pratique parce que le tram roule plus vite que les bus.

On nous a donné des informations très vagues sur l’événement, car ils avaient peur de représailles (les chauffeurs de trams ne sont pas rémunérés à l’heure actuelle comme les chauffeurs de bus) mais lorsque nous sommes arrivées les manifestants étaient paisiblement installés à la terrasse d’un café.

Au final, on a eu droit à une glace et à un café gratuits offerts par les sponsors des trois nouvelles stations de tram.  C’était très agréable!

Three new tram stations were opened on July 27^th, 2018.  They are situated around the Glacis.

It is very practical because the tram goes much faster than the bus.

We were given quite vague information because they were afraid of demonstrations (at the moment, tram drivers aren’t paid like bus drivers) but when we arrived at the Glacis, the demonstrators were peacefully having a drink at a coffee terrace.

At the end, we were treated to a coffee and to an ice cream by the sponsors of those three tram stations. It was very pleasant!

Un stand à l'Octave

Voici un monsieur qui a un stand à l’Octave avec un grand choix d’encens.  L’Octave finit demain, mais vous pouvez retrouver le monsieur et son stand à la Schouberfuer, comme chaque année. 

This gentleman has a stand at the Octave with a great choice of incense.  The Octave finishes tomorrow, but the gentleman and his stand will also be at the Schouberfuer, like each year.

Concernant l’Octave, il y a des stands Place Guillaume II, mais ce stand-là et le fameux stand où vous pouvez déguster des Grompere-kichelcher sont autour de la Gëlle Fra. 

Concerning the Octave, there are stands Place Guillaume II, but this stand and the famous stand where you can try some Grompere-kichelcher are situated around the Gëlle Fra.
