Il y a plusieurs sketches du « Schanzer
Cabarotiker », entremêlés de
chants. Les enfants chantent et jouent
adorablement bien, comme d’habitude!
L’enfant qui nous a le plus époustouflé cette année, c’est le petit Yves
qui joue le rôle d’un vieillard.
There are several different
sketches by the « Schanzer Cabarotiker ». The children sing and play remarkably well as
usual! The child that was the most
stunning this year was little Yves playing the part of a grandad.

Les sketches
sont très actuels et actualisés chaque année.
The sketches depict current life in
Luxembourg and are updated each year.
Un des
thèmes que l’on retrouve ici, “ Fréier
an haut” c’est la différence entre la société avant sans nos portables et
mobiles, sans nos “accessoires électroniques” et aujourd’hui. On imagine un ancien au moyen-âge demander à
un jeune comment se tournent les pages d’un livre par rapport à la lecture d’un
parchemin sans pages. Ou alors la
fameuse scène où le looser dit à sa belle qu’il la quitte par simple sms et
dans le passé, le barman assistant à la scène de la séparation en avait les
larmes aux yeux. Marc
dans le rôle du barman est très émouvant.
One of the topics, “ Fréier an haut” is
about the clash between our modern life with mobile phones and so on and for
example the past life in the Middle Ages when a person of a certain age used to
parchments would ask a youngster of the time how to use a book and how to turn
the pages or else the situation of the guy who breaks up in a bar compared to
breaking up by just sending an sms and the reaction of the barman in both
situations. Marc playing the part of the
barman is very moving.

Le thème des
fameux radars au Luxembourg est abordé, ainsi que le thème des réfugiés plus la
nouvelle campagne pour promouvoir le Luxembourg (On peut acheter de nouveaux
timbres avec ce nouveau logo qu’ils critiquent).
The radar and refugee topics are discussed
as well as the new campaign to promote Luxembourg (The new logo they criticize,
see the new stamps at the post office).
Mon sketch
préféré que j’attends chaque année avec impatience : celui de la parodie du
grand-duc (interprété par Marc) et de la
grande duchesse (interprétée par Monique).
My favourite sketch is the one with the
parody of the Grand Duke (played remarkably by Marc) and the Grand Duchess (also
played remarkably by Monique).
Thierry et
Monique assurent dans la caricature. Cette année, il n’y avait rien de trop
coquin. Ils sont tous restés très sages.
